Dyle Isaac Binns, 79, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away peacefully August 19, 1993 in a local hospital.
He was born on December 12, 1913 in American Fork, Utah. He was a son of John and Ellen Thornton Binns. He married Adele Towers on April 29, 1943. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He served in the Army from September, 1942 to 1946 and was stationed at Fort Stevens, Oregon. After his Army service, he owned and operated Dayle Binns Plumbing. He also served 12 years on the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Credit Union and served on the State Plumbing Association Board for eight years.Active member of the LDS Church as a high priest. He enjoyed walking with his many friends at Cottonwood Mall.
Survived by his wife and two children, Douglas John (Crissie) Binns, Irene Rawson, four granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Niles Binns, Wayne Binns.
He will be greatly missed by all those that touched his life. This is not good-bye, just good memories.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 24th, 12 noon, at the Winder 7th Ward, 4350 South 1100 East. Friends may call Monday, August 23, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, and Tuesday, at the church from 11 until 11:45 a.m.
Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
