Our beloved husband, father, grandpa, brother and friend Albert Richard "Bert" White, peacefully returned home to his Father in Heaven on Thursday, August 19, 1993, after a courageous battle with, and causes incident to cancer.
Born the youngest of eleven children, on March 12, 1918, to Albert and Ellen Oldham White. He married Ferley A. Hollingshead on March 24, 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She preceded him in death on February 26, 1958. He married Nada Mallette on February 3, 1959 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He lived for and loved his family very much, and we will all miss him. An active member of the LDS Church, he served a Mission to the Eastern States. He was an Eagle Scout. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and gardening. He graduated from the University of Utah with a degree inElectrical Engineering and retired from Hercules Aerospace after many years of service.
Survived by his wife Nada; children: Mrs. Larry (Ellen) Adams; Stephen C. and Wendy; Charles J. and Linda; Richard L.; and Anne, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Kelly R. (Leisa) Frandsen, Fayetteville, North Carolina; Mrs. Steven H. (Tamara) Hansen, Idaho Falls, Idaho; two sisters Mrs. Wes (Ruth) Hancock, Ogden, Utah and Mrs. Milton (Lucille) White, Salt Lake City; 22 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by a daughter Carla.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 23, 1993, at 12 noon, at the East Millcreek 9th Ward Chapel, 3750 South Hillside Lane (2505 East). Friends may call Sunday evening 6-8 PM at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, and Monday one hour prior to services at the ward building. Interment will be in the Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy, Utah.
