Once again, Congress has successfully exempted itself from what it has imposed on the rest of the nation.

In passing Clinton's economic package, Congress successfully raised every taxpaying American's taxes, except their own.By looking closely, their tax rate of 31 percent stays just 31 percent, but those Americans earning just more than Congress (cut-off point $140,000) get their taxes raised to 36 percent.

Personally, I'm just a little angry that this bill just happens to exclude senior-level government employees, federal judges and, of course, our caring and concerned Democratic congressmen and senators.
