Mariam Aline Damron Cropper, age 87, passed away August 20, 1993 at home with her loving family.

Born December 10, 1905 in Deseret, Utah to Joseph Warren Damron, Jr. and Mary Abiah Kelly Damron. Married Harald Leigh Cropper April 14, 1926 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death in 1986.She was a faithful member of the LDS Church and served with zeal in many callings, including ward and stake Primary. Served a full-time mission in Texas with her husband, also missions at the LDS Genealogical Library. As an accredited genealogist, she was responsible for uniting thousands of people with their families.

Survived by her son, Harald Leigh Cropper and his wife, LaNez; daughter, Claire Rolfe; 11 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren; sister, Virgilia Thompson Dysart of Oakland, Calif. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Karen Rolfe Woods.

Services will be held Tuesday, August 24, 1993, 1 p.m. at Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South. Friends may call Monday, August 23 from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
