Marty Staneart of Sanger, Calif., rides Tuffy in the second round of the Acme Bull Riders Only competition Saturday night at the Delta Center. More than 8,000 bull riding fans witnessed Aaron Semas of Auburn, Calif., capture the $10,000 top prize in the competition. The victory became Semas' first-ever ABRO event championship as he bested "52 Tiger" of the Edker Wilson Rodeo Company, scoring an 89. Right on Semas' heels was Michael "G-Man" Gaffney of Lubbock, Texas, who took second with an 84 to pick up $3,000. The "G-Man" maintained a streak of riding out 100-percent of the bulls he has drawn. Three-time world champion and current ABRO Series point leader Tuff Hedeman scored 82 to pick up third place. Staneart tallied an 81 for $1,000. Acme Bull Riders Only is the world's only professional bull riding league, putting up 30 top riders against some of the world's roughest livestock.
