Monday, Aug. 23, is the deadline for entering the Utah State Fair open class livestock exhibits.
Categories include beef and dairy cattle, dairy goats, pigeons, poultry, rabbits, sheep and swine.Rules and entry forms are available in the livestock premium book. Copies may be obtained at the fair administration office, 155 N. 1000 West, or by calling 538-FAIR.
Barn tours, in which "city slickers" can learn fun facts about domestic animals, are new to the livestock exhibit program this year.
