Followers of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi have purchased a former Hilton Hotel in Dallas for $2.5 million and plan to turn part of it into a high-rise holistic and transcendental meditation center, similar to other Heaven on Earth Inns developed by the maharishi's World Plan Executive Council in Houston, Detroit and Cleveland. Heaven on Earth Inns do not serve alcohol and discourage smoking and their restaurants specialize in vegetarian and health-food dishes.
