How can the American people believe the lies being perpetuated by the Clinton administration about gun control? How could we have forgotten such an important part of our freedom?

"Divine providence has given to every individual the means of self-defense. To disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them" (George Washington, 1788)."Before a standing army or a tyrannical government can rule, the people must be disarmed" (Noah Webster).

Anti-gun propaganda is being cleverly orchestrated throughout the print and broadcast media across America, coordinated with reporting of rapidly rising crime, gang warfare, drive-by shootings, etc. The goal of this campaign is to convince the American public that the only way to have safe streets is to outlaw all firearms.

The reality is, of course, that once the American people have been disarmed and are no longer able to defend themselves, the criminals, the gangs, and the government agents, such as the BATF and FBI, as well as the new National Police Force, will be the only ones with the guns.

Being "tough on crime" by disarming the people is a hoax. Building more prisons is a hoax. Paying for the operation of prisons for nonviolent criminals is a hoax. Restitution to victims and education (not prison) for nonviolent criminals is being "tough on crime."

It is hard to believe that Americans are actually voluntarily giving up their guns under the pretense they are helping deter crime.
