The January meeting of the Utah Valley Quilt Guild will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, at the Eldred Center, 270 W. 500 North.

The meeting will feature a demonstration of foundation piecing, a technique that is especially useful in making accurate miniature quilts. There will be demonstrations of this method using stamped muslin as the foundation. The stamped muslin foundation pieces will be available for those who attend so that they may try the technique at home. The meeting will also feature some of the highlights planned for the coming year and will include a special packet for all current members in attendance, as well as a regular show and tell.

The morning workshop at 9 a.m. will be Circle of Love, taught by Joyce Stultz. This quilt design could be made as a single block or as a wall hanging. For the supply list or additional information, call Helen Van Fleet, 375-1093.

Anyone interested in quilts or quilting is invited to attend.
