Turnovers, rebounds, and free throws led to a 74-56 loss for BYU's women's basketball team to San Diego State Saturday in San Diego.

The Cougars had 33 turnovers, were outboarded by a 45-36 margin, and had 14 fewer free throw attempts than the Aztecs.Center Debbie Dimond continued to pace the Cougars, recording 22 points on 10-11 shooting and grabbing 11 rebounds. The only other Cougar to score in double figures was guard Thais Kidd who had 15.

The Cougars (5-9, 0-2) play their first WAC home games of the season Thursday and Saturday against Colorado State and Wyoming.
