We tearfully say goodbye to Louise Miller Cole, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She passed away peacefully December 31, 1993 of complications that resulted from a fall.
Born Dec. 30, 1926, Logan, Utah to Conrad Lorenzo and Eva Atkinson Miller. Married Dale Warrick Cole October 8, 1946; solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June 30, 1976.Above all, she enjoyed her family. Unable to bear children, she still had the heart of a great mother and adopted two sons who often wonder where they would be without the love and care she gave to them. She loved her daughters-in-law, Brenda and Carrie, as if they were her own daughters.
She worked hard bringing her family together for reunions, and spent a lifetime working on genealogy. She enjoyed quilting and needle point, but her love was to rock and read stories to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved traveling and enjoyed the warmth of Arizona sun. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in various callings for many years.
Recently preceded in death by her husband, Dale. Survived by sons, Pratt and Justin; sister, Kathryn Bourne; brothers, Alfred, Malden, Maurice, Rex, Ellis Miller; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services Tuesday, January 4, 1994, 11 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
