The Brigham Young University Astronomical Society will sponsor a lecture Friday, Jan. 28, titled "Comets and Asteroids."
The shows will begin at 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. in the Summerhays Planetarium, 492 Eyring Science Center. Admission is $1, and the lectures are open to the public.Rebecca Hoffman, a member of the Astronomical Society, will give the presentation using the planetarium projection system, slides and moving models.
Weather permitting, the campus observatory telescope will be open to the public for sky-watching following the lecture.
