Edith May Jennings, 93, Everett, Washington, died January 23, 1994.

She was born in Salt Lake City, November 1, 1900. She attended the University of Utah and graduated cum laude from the University of Washington with a degree of Science in Library Science, 1931. Edith and Walter Jennings were married in Seattle, 1934. Mr. Jennings preceded her in death in 1959.She was employed in Salt Lake Public Library, 1920-1930; became the first librarian of the South High School, 1931-34. In Washington, she was librarian for the Paine Field Library, 4th Air Force, 1944-45, Snohomish Co. Library, 1946-47; Everett Public Library 26 years, retiring in 1970.

She leaves cousins, among whom is Belden Durtschi in Seattle.

Memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Everett.
