Jennifer Cracroft Lewis, 25, of Bountiful, died Wednesday, January 26, 1994, from natural causes following a brief illness.

Born September 13, 1968 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, to Richard H. and Janice Alger Cracroft. She married Thomas D. Lewis on January 8, 1993, in the Jordan River LDS Temple. Jennifer attended Maeser Elementary and Farrer Jr. High Schools, and graduated from Timpview High School in 1986. She had studied at BYU, UVSC, and completed her Certified Dental Assistant training at Provo College. At the time of her death she was pursuing a pre-hygienist program at Weber State University and assisting Dr. Kim E. Samuelson, DMD.

A devoted Latter-day Saint, Jennifer accompanied her parents during much of their missionary service in the Switzerland Zurich Mission, where she served a short-term, German-speaking mission. Served a full-time mission to the New Hampshire-Manchester Mission, 1991-1992.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas D. Lewis, Bountiful; her parents, Provo; and two brothers, Richard A. (Dyanna), Las Vegas; and Jeffrey R. (Kim), Provo; father-in-law, John T. Lewis (Louise), Kaysville; stepfather-in-law, Paul E. Hawkins, Layton; and sisters-in-law, Katrina (Dean) Peterson, Kaysville; Dara Lynne Lewis, Layton; Annette (Dennis) Brandon, Layton. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Jeanette Nielsen Lewis Hawkins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, 1994, at the Provo Bonneville Stake Center, 85 So. 900 East, Provo. There will be a viewing at the stake center one hour prior to the services and on Friday evening, 6-8 p.m., at Berg Mortuary, 185 East Center, Provo.
