Loving father, brother, grandfather, and friend, Henry (Jay) Emery, 63, passed away January 26, 1994 at home of heart failure.
Born April 2, 1930 in Escalante, Utah to Joseph Henry Emery and Leda Schow Emery. Married Margery Ensign, September 1, 1956 in Elko, Nevada. She preceded him in death, August 10, 1987.He attended West High School and Utah Technical College. Was employed at Midvale Meat Packing Company. He retired from Kennecott Smelter after 35 years of service. Was active in the Steel Workers Union and a member of FOE 659. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, upholstery work and traveling to Nevada.
Survived by one son, Brent Evans (and his wife Lynette); three daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Peggy) Nelson, Idaho Falls, Idaho; Mrs. Jerry (Terry) Ingleby; Mrs. Armand (Kathy Lee) Grimaud; 15 grandchildren; sister, Louise Peck. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 29, 1994, 12 Noon, at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
