Brigham Young University basketball fans, with the help of Brigham Young University Student Association volunteers, raised more than $5,500 at Thursday's game.
The money donated by the fans was given to the United Way/Red Cross "L.A. Quake Disaster Fund." All donations will be sent to help earthquake victims in Southern California.Individuals can still donate to the disaster fund to help earthquake victims.
Donations should be sent to United Way of Utah County, 148 N. 100 West, Provo, or the Red Cross, 865 N. 200 West, Provo.
