Utah State gymnastics coach Ray Corn made his annual pilgrimage to his home area, which is also home to several of his athletes, and the Aggies came away from the Denver University Classic with their highest score this season, 188.675, and wins over University of Oklahoma (184.35), Denver (184.175) and Air Force Academy (181.025) Thursday night at DU Fieldhouse.
The Aggies did it without one of their most experienced competitors, Tricia Yamamoto, who turned an ankle earlier in the week and is expected to miss USU's meet in the Smith Spectrum Monday at 7 p.m. with Boise State.USU freshman Janelle Del Rosario won all-around at 37.55 and was second on balance beam at 9.75. Aggie sophomore Jane Warrilow won bars at 9.6, and freshman Deanna Palmer was second in vault at 9.75.
