Freda Dubach Garnham, 78, was released from mortal restrictions and pain caused by cancer, January 2, 1994, to continue her eternal journey.

The seventh of fourteen children, she was born in Selzach, Solothurn, Switzerland, April 1, 1915, to Frederick and Line Reist Dubach. She immigrated to England in 1936 and married Walter Jack Garnham, November 25, 1939. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, Oct. 31, 1975. Freda deeply loved the outdoors. She was most content being surrounded by mountains, watching wildlife or working in the garden. She was a comfort and friend to many who knew her and will be remembered for her many acts of kindness. Our love goes with you until we meet again.Survived by her husband and daughter, Marlene Julia Garnham; her sisters, Rosa Mathys and Martha Mathys, Logan; Ella Reutsch and Margaret Oester, Switzerland; and brothers, Hugo Benjamin Dubach, Canada; and Erwin Dubach, Switzerland. Preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Thurs., January 6th at the Monument Park 5th Ward Chapel, 1930 So. 2100 East. Friends may call at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South, Weds., Jan. 5th from 6-8 p.m and Thurs. at the ward one hour prior to services. Interment, Memorial Estates Mountain View Cemetery.
