Matilda L. Eltz passed away peacefully January 1, 1994 in Sandy, Utah.
Born February 13, 1916 to John and Louise Frkovich Sorich. Married John A. Eltz; he preceded her in death.She is survived by her children: Barbara (Larry) Lewis, Peggi (Kay) Searle, Pat Derbidge, Johnny (Pamela) Eltz; ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren; sister, Manda Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Arta Sorich; and Mary Yengich McDonald.
She was a fun and spirited person. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life. She was always there for them, attending their sports, rain or shine. In 1985, she traveled with her sister, Manda, to Rome, Germany, England, and to their homeland, Yugoslavia.
Bubba, you are gone, but you will live in our hearts forever. If there are candles in heaven, continue to light them for us as you did here on Earth.

Funeral Mass Wednesday, January 5, 1994, at 9:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 9757 South 1700 East, Sandy, Utah. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary 8090 South State, Midvale, Tuesday 6:30-8:00 p.m. with Holy Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Friends may also call at the church on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m to time of Mass.
