How many times does a homeowner try to adjust the TV volume out of respect and courtesy for someone studying, a shift worker sleeping, kids or grand-kids, even a parent retiring early or napping?

Yet each time the commercials come on the stations crank up the volume several notches and blast us in our own living rooms. It's not right, fair or proper.
