The sixth annual Software Technology Conference will be held April 10-15 in Salt Lake City. The Departments of the Air Force, Army and Navy will join to present STC-94, described as "the premiere" software technology conference in the Department of Defense.
A spokesman for Hill Air Force Base said 2,500 participants from the military services, other government agencies, contractors, industry and academia are expected to attend.The STC-94 theme is "Predictable Software, Order Out of Chaos." The program will include tutorials, presentations, vendor demonstrations, sponsored tracks presented on Friday by STARS, SEI, etc., and "birds-of-a-feather" discussion groups held throughout the week.
"The STC is growing in size and reputation each year," said Dana Dovenbarger, conference manager.
He said the conference is an opportunity for users and suppliers to discuss the latest initiatives in DOD software.
