Scott Deppe was named financial analyst at Applied Research Technologies, a telecommunication consulting firm. He earned a masters in business administration from the University of Utah. Debbie Bennion, Hope Jensen and Judy Piling have been named agents for the Union Park office of Mansell & Associates. The brokerage is Utah's largest independent residential real estate brokerage with offices in Midvale, Salt Lake City, Ogden, Tooele, St. George, Orem, Springville and Price. Orson Dietz of Teleflex Defense Systems has been named chairman of the board of directors of the Utah Supplier Development Council, a nonprofit organization dedicated to increase money spent by large companies and government agencies for services and products of women- and minority-owned businesses. Gunnell Nelson of Salt Lake Community College has been named secretary of the board of directors of the USDC. Barbara Reeves, USDC founder, was named to its board of directors.
