Glen E. Kirk, 68, died January 3, 1994 in a Murray hospital.

Born April 13, 1925 in Magna, Utah, to Ray Eugene and Leah Murl Hooley Kirk. Married Edna C. Peterson in Midvale, Utah, March 8, 1945. Glen was a Veteran of World War II, serving with the 8th Air Corp in England. He was employed at Kennecott Copper for 35 years and hobbies he enjoyed include traveling and camping.Survivors: wife, Edna, Midvale; children, Lawrence R. and wife, Geri, North Cape May, New Jersey; Darlene V. Hooper and husband, Roger, Salt Lake City; Gary C. and wife, Eloise, San Diego, California; Veldon L. and wife, Son Hwa, Midvale, Utah; 14 grandchildren and one great granddaughter; brother and sisters, Shirl H. and wife, Evelyn, Naples, Utah; Cleo Hales, Salt Lake City; Vera Chipman and husband, Willard, Midvale. Preceded in death by sons, Ray G. and Earl E.; brother, Leland; sisters, Gladys Kirk and Leah Dilley.

Funeral services Friday, January 7, 1994, 2:00 p.m. in the Goff Mortuary Chapel 8090 So. State, where friends may call Friday one hour prior to services. Respecting Glen's wish, his body will be cremated following services and at a later date, placed in his niche at Redwood Memorial Estates.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Primary Childrens Medical Center or the Shriner's Crippled Children Hospital.
