Idamae Decker, 93, died January 1, 1994 at St. Joseph Villa, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born January 7, 1900 in Summerfield, Kansas to Harvey King and Jennie Turnbull Seip. Following graduation from Kansas State Teachers College, she taught in several western states including Ruth, Nevada, where she met her husband Garland P. Decker, a mining engineer. They lived many years in Sewell, Chile and Moab, Utah, where Mr. Decker owned a trucking co. and Mrs. Decker did volunteer work at the Moab Hospital. After Mr. Decker died in 1965, Mrs. Decker lived in Moab, the Salt Lake City.Survived by two sons, Richard and wife, Cora, Taylorsville; Thomas and wife, Eleanor, Arlington, Mass.; also three grandchildren; granddaughters, Heather and Caroline Decker and grandson, Donald Decker. Also three step-grandson and two step-granddaughters.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, 10 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 So. Funeral Directors: Neil O'Donnell & Sons.
