Don't put away the snow shovels and snow blowers yet, but the storm forecast for Wednesday for the Wasatch Front may not be as quite as big as anticipated.

A revised forecast issued at 10 a.m. calls for 1 to 3 inches of snow Wednesday along the Wasatch Front and about the same amount Wednesday night. Locally heavier amounts are expected along the benches, said William J. Alder, meteorologist in charge of the Salt Lake office of the National Weather Service.Meanwhile, Bruce Tremper, director of the Utah Avalanche Forecast Center issued an avalanche warning early Wednesday for all the mountains of Utah, but mainly northern Utah.
