John L. Gibb, 64, passed away peacefully in his sleep October 16,
1994. He was born on December 21, 1929 to Fred and Rebecca Gibb. He married Janet Barron on June 18, 1954. They have two children, Brenda and Jeff. John worked in the automobile industry for most of his life. He also loved "puttering" around at his apartment complexes. But he mostly enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandson.John is survived by his wife and best friend of 40 years, Janet; his daughter, Brenda (Travis Sweeney); his son Jeff; grandson, Caden John; mother, Rebecca, Canada; sisters, Mary (Phil) Sheffield, Canada; Betty Leavitt, Norma (Bill) Miller, Nevada; brothers, Don (Persia), Florida; Lloyd (Nicky), California; Larry (Betty), Arizona; Keith (Leah), Washington; Gordon (Deanne), California. Preceded in death by his father and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 12 noon, October 19, 1994 in the Wasatch Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive where friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park
