Eva Newbold Corak, 83, passed away October 17, 1994.

She was born October 28, 1910 in Murray, Utah to Orson and Emma Maria Naylor Newbold. Married John Corak in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 10, 1930. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple August 25, 1955. Eva active in the LDS Young Women's sports program and served as secretary in the Relief Society and Sunday School. She retired from the Salt Lake County Library System.Survivors: husband, John, Midvale; son, John R. Corak and wife Leah W., Riverton; daughters, Barbara Sadler and husband Thomas, Sandy; Marlene Henderson and husband J. W., San Diego, California; six grandsons; five granddaughters; four great grandsons; seven great granddaughters; sisters, Verda Robinson, West Valley; Genevieve Robertson, Murray. Preceded in death by a daughter, Karen, parents, three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services Thursday, October 20, 1994, at 11 a.m. in the Midvale 4th LDS Ward Chapel 75 Olympus St. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday at the church from 9:45-10:45 p.m. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
