Our devoted mother, Geneva Genevieve Byrne Rampton, passed away Friday, September 30, 1994 due to natural causes.
She was born December 10, 1908 in Ogden, Utah to Ova A. and Eula O. Moseley Byrne. She married George Henry Rampton on September 4, 1929 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Surviving are her six children, Wallace Byrne Rampton, Syracuse; David Byrne Rampton, Syracuse; Roger Harrison Rampton, Las Vegas, Nev.; Dennis Tison Rampton, Fremont, Calif.; Dianne R. Smith, Syracuse; Ester Mitchell, Los Angeles, Calif.; 30 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one brother, Clix Byrne; and a sister, Aileen Johnson.
She was a graduate of Weber State Academy. She taught school in Yost, Utah and was an accomplished pianist and artist. She was an active member of the Syracuse 1st Ward.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday,at 1p.m., at the Syracuse 1st Ward Chapel, 1313 South 2500 West. Friends may call at the Myers Mortuary in Roy, 5865 South 1900 West, on Monday form 6-8 p.m. and at the ward chapel on Tuesday from 11:45 a.m. -12:45 p.m.
