Mary Ellen Webb Hiatt, 40, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 21, 1994, following an epileptic seizure.

As a child she was known as "Mary Sunshine" as she was bright and cheery, showing love to all who knew her throughout her life. The Gospel of Jesus Christ was the center of her life and in moving to Salt Lake she felt she had reached her personal Zion. An active member of the LDS Church. Although engaged in a lifelong battle with epilepsy she was unfailingly optimistic under all circumstances.Mary adored her children, Shawn Charles, Janet Lee and David Carl Hiatt, who survive her. She is also survived by her husband, Charles Dale Hiatt; parents, Ronald and Dolores Brizzee; sisters, Carol Ackerman and Janet Mathusek; brothers, Dell Clark Webb and James Keith Todd; and a very special aunt, Mary Peterman.

Funeral services will be Thursday, October 27th, 2 p.m., at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call one hour prior to the services.
