A $3.4 million bond election will be on the ballot in Panguitch Nov. 8 to determine whether a proposed wastewater system will get financing.

The bond, if approved, will be used for collection, treatment and disposal of sewage. The city will also have to acquire land, easements and rights of way, according to Mayor Maloy Dodds. Lagoons will be built and an extensive system of collector and trunk lines installed.Polling places for both Panguitch districts will be in the Garfield County Courthouse.

Those registered to vote in the general election are eligible to vote on the bond issue as well. Absentee ballots are available.
