Rosemarie Knecht, age 69, died at her home November 8, 1994.

Born September 2, 1925 in Heidelberg, Germany, she came to America in 1955 and became a U.S. Citizen in 1962. Singing and music were her life. Active LDS, she was a chorister and choir director and sang in the choir plus numerous other callings. She also sang with the West Valley Chorale. She had a beautiful soprano voice. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, cross stitching and most of all enjoyed her children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter.Survived by her daughter, Julie Nonnenmacher (Henry) of Highland; son, Andreas Knecht, of Kearns; grandsons, Robert and Daniel Nonnenmacher; granddaughter, Suzanne Jorgensen (Tracy), great-granddaughter, Brittany Jorgensen; also Oskar Knecht of Germany. Preceded in death by her son, Peter Knecht.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 12, 1994, 10 a.m. at the Valley Ridge Ward, 5422 South Sarah Jane Drive (5240 West), where friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday 9-9:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
