The Dixie College Board of Trustees recently approved a motion to build a new institutional residence west of the Graff Fine Arts Center.
Ned Carnahan, physical plant director, said the current president's home has not been adequate for some time to meet various hosting needs. The new presidential home will include 4,500 square feet of residential and hosting space. The site is west of the fine arts center on 700 South.
"We are in the preliminary design stages," said Carnahan. "No architect has been selected as of yet, but we hope to have the home completed within six months."
