Flutist/saxophonist Joe Muscolino will present a concert at the Westminster College Jewett Center for the Performing Arts, his alma mater, Friday, Nov. 11. The music will begin at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

The concert is part of the Westminster College Concert Series.Also performing in Muscolino's band will be vocalists Kerry Ewing and B. Murphy, pianist Michael Huff, bassist Glen Griffin, drummer Kelly Wallis, guitarist Kevin Johansen, trumpeteer/flugle-hornist Neil Fockel, trombone player Brian Priebe and baritone sax/clarinet player David Asman.

Since the Joe Muscolino Band's inception 14 years ago, it has become one of the busiest performing groups in the Salt Lake music scene. Best known for its "big band" style, it also includes jazz, rhythm and blues, latin and funk in its repertoire. It has also been a featured mainstay at the Utah Arts Festival, the Park City Arts Festival, the KLCY Neighbor Fest and the Salt Lake Arts Council "Brown Bag" series.
