Doris Wood King, age 67, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 1994, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born March 15, 1927 in Logan, Utah, the daughter of E. Lynn and Annie Gunnell Wood. Married Garth H. King, June 18, 1947, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. An active member of the LDS Church, having served in many capacities throughout her life. Member and past captain of the Wagon Wheel Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.Survived by husband; five children, Scott (Sharon) King, Murray; Kathy (Mark) Buchanan, South Weber; Laurie (Dennis) Miller, Syracuse; Jim (Charlene) King, Kaysville; Marla (Lance) Robinson, Farmington; 18 grandchildren; two brothers, Theron Wood and Odell Wood; four sisters, VaLaine Lepchenske, VaLoy Watson, Sharon Hurst, Janice Wray. Preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
Funeral services Saturday, November 12, 1994, 11 a.m. at the Kaysville 13th LDS Ward Chapel, 875 East 200 North. Friends and family may call Friday evening 6-8 p.m. at the Lindquist Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main, and also at the church Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Interment in the Kaysville City Cemetery.
