Norma Marie Christensen Hyde, 89, died November 9, 1994.
Born April 17, 1905 in Spanish Fork, Utah, to Christian Janus and Maren (Mary) Christensen. She married Curtis A. Tucker, January 19, 1937 in Salt Lake. He died July 1947. She married William T. Hyde III, February 1, 1956 in the Manti LDS Temple. He died February 19, 1971. She gave a lifetime of service in ward and stake positions in the LDS Church. She served a mission to the Northern States in 1925-26, and to the Southwest British Mission in 1967-68 with her husband, Bill. She also worked in the Provo Temple for nine years.Survived by two sons, Reed T. (Lorna Jean) Hyde, Orem; Ronald W. (Susan) Hyde, West Valley; a daughter, Shirley (Burton) Mortensen, Layton; foster-daughter, Colleen (Marvin) Baum, Moreno Valley, Calif.; 18 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold E. Christensen, Spanish Fork.
Funeral services will be Saturday, 11 a.m in the Orem Cherry Hill 9th Ward, 145 East 2000 South. Friends may call at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, Friday 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday at the church one hour prior to services. Burial, Spanish Fork Cemetery.
