Serge Eugster Burningham, age 86, passed away Friday, November 4, 1994 in Bountiful, Utah.

Born August 11, 1908 in Bountiful, Utah, the son of George Edward and Amelia Eugster Burningham. Married Hortense Viallet, August 20, 1930 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She preceded him in death November 20, 1982. An active member of the LDS Church, having served in many capacities throughout his life. Served an LDS mission with his wife in Espanola, New Mexico, 1979-80.Survivors include his seven children, Lorraine (Robert) Bearnson, Glendora, California; Dorothy (Maurice) Call, Centerville; S. Lee Burningham, Bountiful; Michael J. (Sue) Burningham, Bountiful; Stephen E. (Carrolyn) Burningham, West Valley; Peter D. (Deena) Burningham, Bountiful; Sharon (Normand) Langevin, Kaysville, currently serving a mission in Bordeaux, France; 43 grandchildren; 75 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Carl Burningham, Bountiful; five sisters, Grace Christensen, Syracuse; Eva Aird, Bountiful; Fuchsia Arnold, Bountiful; Georgia Mikkelsen, Fountain Green; and Florence Goodman, St. George; sister-in-law, Mary Burningham, Portland, Oregon.

Preceded in death by his wife; granddaughter, Jennifer; and a great, great grandson, Brandon.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 8, 1994 at 11 a.m. in the Bountiful 2nd Ward, 650 South 200 East. Friends may call at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
