I am referring to an article I read concerning the new extension to 2000 East. A new apartment complex is being built along Highland Drive; with cars coming in and out onto that road, it often becomes very busy and the traffic really seems to build up.
There are so many accidents that happen daily on that road, particularly beneath Bengal Boulevard. My own sister almost lost her life there in a very serious car accident that was a result of dirt and gravel flying up everywhere.I am very concerned about my safety and the safety of others driving on that road daily. The bottom line is that Highland Drive needs to be expanded and as soon as possible and before the apartments start getting rented out and the traffic problem becomes a total nightmare.
