BYU women's netters Jennifer Saret and Cherie Kaneshiro marched into the singles semifinals of the Central Region Rolex Championships Saturday.

Late Friday, No. 2 Saret downed Chessa Bieri of Kansas 6-3, 6-0. She went on to squeeze past Oklahoma's Malan 6-7, 6-1, 6-2. In Saturday's quarterfinals, Saret bested No. 7 Field of Weber State 4-6, 6-4, 6-4. She will meet No. 4 Atkerson of Kansas on Monday in the semifinals.Also on Saturday, third-seeded Kaneshiro defeated Cifranic of Oklahoma 6-3, 6-3. In the semifinals Monday, Kaneshiro will play No. 1 Karina Kuregian of Kansas State.

In other fourth-round action, Michelle Domanico lost to Sim of Kansas 6-2, 6-4. Angela Nelson was defeated by Atkerson 6-1, 6-3. The losses put both players out of singles competition.

In doubles, two BYU teams remain undefeated - Saret/Menefee and Nelson/Domanico. Both teams have yet to play in the third round.
