Philip John Edwards, 42, died November 6, 1994 at home after an eight year battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease).

Born November 12, 1951 in Heber City, Utah to Douglas and Joyce Miller Edwards. Married Karol Ann Wright, November 2, 1973 in the Provo Temple.Active member of the LDS Church, serving in various callings. At the time of his death was teaching Sunday School, which he greatly enjoyed. Also enjoyed attending the Temple. Served in the Oregon Mission and was an Eagle Scout. He loved farming, outdoors, riding horses and all sports.

Survived by wife, Charleston; children, Tyler John, serving an LDS Mission in Connecticut; Olivia Ann, Spencer Colton and Autumn Rae, all of Charleston; parents, Douglas and Joyce Edwards, Charleston; sisters and brothers, Vickie and LaVaa Taylor, Susan and Kim Wooton, Heber City; Robert and Linda Edwards, Cedar City; David and Tiffany Edwards, Riverton.

Funeral services Thursday, 1 p.m., at the Charleston Ward. Friends may call at Olpin Mortuary, Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday at the church one hour prior to services. Burial: Heber City Cemetery.
