The ninth week of Deseret News Grid Picks was very strange, wasn't it? With all the upsets, the best anyone could muster was a 10.

Larry Frankhauser of Kearns had to edge out the other two entries with 10 correct by winning the tiebreaker game. His tiebreaker score was 11.Boyce Judd of Coalville and Dan Johnson of Orem also predicted 10 games correctly but were relegated to runner-up status by Frankhauser's lower tiebreaker score.

Nearly 50 entries predicted nine games correctly but only the following eight entries made it into the top 10 because of their lower tiebreaker scores.

These individuals (who all scored nine on their predictions) and their tiebreaker scores are: Jay Rasmussen, Salt Lake, 7; Sam Angona, St. George, 8; Mike Daniels, Spanish Fork, 8; Joshua Pilkington, Provo, 8; Dennis Packard, Farmington, 9; Margie Steenblik, Murray, 9; Henry Cullis, Salt Lake City, 10 and Jordan Bledsoe, Kaysville, 10.

Frankhauser, as the top weekly winner, receives $100, a Grid Picks T-shirt, a pizza from Domino's and two bonus points. All runners up receive the T-shirt and the pizza and all eleven winners can now add their scores to the cumulative game, the winner of which will win a trip for two to the Holiday Bowl.

This winner will be determined by the individual with the most cumulative points over the 12 weeks of the contest. For scores to be eligible for the cumulative game, however, an entry must place in the top 11.
