The Great Salt Lake Audubon Society will lead three birding field trips in November and early December. Anyone interested is invited to attend.

On Saturday, Nov. 12, there will be a two-mile hike up City Creek Canyon to look for wintering birds. Meet at 10 a.m. in the northeast parking lot of Payless, 220 E. 700 South. Bring a lunch and drink. The hike will end around 1:30 p.m.On Sunday, Nov. 20, there will be an all-day outing that will go past Great Salt Lake to Tooele, Stockton, Rush Lake, Ophir Canyon and back to Salt Lake City via Redwood Road. Meet at 10 a.m. at the Sugarhouse Garden Center, 1650 E. 2100 South, to car-pool. Bring lunch, drink and warm clothes.

On Saturday, Dec. 10, meet at 10 a.m. in front of the Tracy Aviary to look for wintering birds in the aviary and park. Activity will last until about 1 p.m.
