This city was the king of the local propositions for Utah's 1994 election, with no fewer than five on the ballot.

Calvin Robison, the Washington County clerk, said the five propositions called for $2 million in bonds for a number of projects.All of the propositions passed with hefty margins, in final, unofficial results. Voters agreed to:

- Build a new town hall, for, 393 votes; against, 145.

- Improve the fire station, in favor, 362; against, 181.

- Improve Skyline Drive, a proposition that passed 400 to 141.

- Improve Center Street, with the vote for at 382 and against, 158.

- Work on storm drains, 377 in favor, 162 against.
