E. Blaine "Sandy" Sutton, beloved father, grandfather and rancher, died November 7, 1994 doing what he loved best - taking care of his animals.

He was born October 6, 1910 in Grantsville, Utah to Hyrum LeRoy and Mary Alice Sutton. He married the late June Reed on September 14, 1940; their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on January 14, 1959. Sandy was very active in the LDS Church, serving in many positions including first counselor to the Bishop. He was a charter member of the Grantsville Lions Club from 1949 to his death (a total of 46 years). In addition to being a rancher, he worked at Morton Salt Company and retired as plant manager in 1975.His survivors include: daughters, Saundra Young, Vera Zaccardi, Kathleen Sutton and son, Robert Blaine Sutton; grandchildren, Jamie Allyn, Michael Young, Stephan Blaine Zaccardi, Houston Blaine Sutton and great-grandchildren, Orion Allyn and Broderick Zaccardi; brothers, Myron Sutton, Grantsville; and Richard Sutton, Spring City, Texas; sisters, Mary Olson and Alice Edmunds, Salt Lake City; and Barbara Harrison, Grantsville. He was preceded in death by his wife, June, in October, 1988.

Services will be held on Thursday, November 10, at 3 p.m. at the Grantsville West Stake Center, 115 E. Cherry St., Grantsville, Utah. Viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Tate Mortuary, Tooele and one hour prior at the church on Thursday. Interment: Grantsville City Cemetery.
