Margaret "Meg" Welch Turner, 60, passed away on November 7, 1994 at her home in Mapleton.

She was born January 28, 1934 in Munfordville, Kentucky, a daughter of William Thomas Welch and Alma Lee Moss.She married Don E. Turner, September 23, 1954 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Their marriage was later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on May 29, 1959. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many capacities.

She is survived by her husband, Don of Mapleton; children, Terri Lynn and husband, Steve Hutchings, Spanish Fork; Steve and wife, Carrie Turner, Japan; Lisa Turner, Phoenix, Ariz.; Jon Turner, Texas; four grandchildren; a sister, Eudella Wilson, Valley Station, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her mother and father.

Funeral services will be held Friday, at 11 a.m., in the Mapleton Stake Center, 970 North 400 East, Mapleton. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary in Spanish Fork, 187 South Main, on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Friday at the ward chapel, one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
