New York Knicks guard John Starks signed a three-year, $13.1 million extension, beating an NBA deadline for restructuring deals.

In Philadelphia, the 76ers signed forward Willie Burton on Tuesday, filling a roster spot vacated by the release of guard Tate George.In Oakland, Calif., former Tennessee State star Carlos Rogers signed a nine-year contract with the Golden State Warriors.

And in Waltham, Mass., Boston forward Dino Radja agreed to a multiyear extension beginning with the 1996-97 season, ending concerns he would leave the Celtics after the season.
