Violet Toomer Webb, 84, passed away Nov. 28, 1994.

Born March 12, 1910 in Morgan to James Henry and Jane Rebecca Welch Toomer. Married Otto Leo Smythe, now deceased. Married Hyrum Victor Webb, August 27, 1955, now deceased; marriage later solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple.She was a successful businesswoman; a buyer and salesperson for Wolfe's Sporting Goods, and Utah Woolen Mills. She was an active member of the LDS Church and especially loved genealogy, traveling, books, and gardening.

Survived by two sons, James and Kenneth Smythe, both of California; two stepsons, Ron Webb of Bountiful; and Keith Webb of Texas; six grandchildren; one sister, Nona Cottle and seven half-brothers and -sisters.

Preceded in death by three brothers, one half-brother, and a son, Richard.

Graveside services will be 12 noon, Saturday, Dec. 3, 1994, at Morgan City Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 2, 1994 at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 So. 200 East.

Memorials may be given to the Salt Lake Humane Society.
