Police frogmen search the River Kelvin at Twechar, north of Glasgow, Scotland, after the worst flooding in more than a century forced a bridge to collapse, sweeping away two teenage boys in their car. More than 150 homes and 645 people had to be evacuated as record rainfall hit western Scotland over the weekend. At least 30 major roads and scores of minor ones are still impassable.
