Jonathan Clark Gallup, 15, beloved son of G. Thomas and Kerry Clark Gallup of Sandy, Utah went to be with his Heavenly Father late Sunday evening, December 11, 1994.
Jon was born July 12, 1979 in Pocatello, Idaho and lived there until July 1994 when the family moved to Utah.Jon attended Gate City Elementary and Franklin Junior High in Pocatello. In Sandy he attended Albion Middle School. With his loveable personality he was able to make many friends who touched his life in both cities.
He was a member of the Teachers Quorum in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and completed his Eagle Scout project.
Jonathan's special interest were snow skiing and roller blading, but his pride and joy was his Seattle Seahawks.
Survivors include his parents; a brother, Gerry Gallup III; four sisters, Jenny, Jamee, JoNelle Gallup, all of Sandy, Utah; Jana Gallup, Pocatello; grandparents: Mark and Glyn Clark, Pocatello; Fern Gallup, St. George, Utah. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gerald Gallup; and his grandmother, Helen Louise Clark.
A memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14th, at the Granite 5th Ward, 2536 East 8900 So. (Newcastle Dr.) Sandy, Utah; friends may call 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Thursday, December 15, 1994 at the Highland Stake Center, Pocatello, Idaho at the corner of Butte and Satterfield with Bishop Scott Lunt officiating. Viewing from 11-12:30 p.m. Interment at Mountainview Cemetery.
