Robert Dare Wilson, formerly of West Valley City, age 85, passed away December 9, 1994 in Auburn, Washington.
Born July 23, 1909 in Mackay, Idaho, son of Robert Henry and Ann Marion Coates Wilson. Married Alice Krueger, October 19, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church and loved the gospel. Had a special interest in genealogy. Member of the Utah Sons of Pioneers. He had a wonderful sense of humor, brought joy to others with his stories and was fun to be with. We loved him and we'll miss him.Survived by daughters, Mary Dare (Jay) Merrill, Trenton, Utah; Janice (Richard) Stafford, Auburn, Washington; Margie (Paul) Johnson, St. Peters, Missouri; 19 grandchildren. Preceded in death by wife and grandson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 10 a.m. at the Granger 20th Ward, 2850 West 3835 So. Friends may call Friday, 6-7 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood Road and Saturday at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
