Rulon C. Paramore, 69, passed away December 12, 1994 at his home in Midvale, Utah.

He was born June 28, 1925 to Clarence Golden and Josephine Coltrin Paramore in Cedar City, Utah. He married Joan Garner in the Salt Lake City Temple on November 16, 1945. He was a member of the LDS Church. He worked for Kennecott for 29 years at the Bingham Mine, retiring in 1984. He was an active member of the Utah Good Sam's Club, and served as state director for four years. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II as a tailgunner on a B-17 bomber. He spent two additional years of military service during the Korean War and retired from the Army Reserve as a major after 20 years of service.He is survived by his wife; two sons and six daughters: Michael Paramore, San Diego, Calif.; Linda Pender, North Little Rock, Ark.; Andreah Brady, Riverton; Patricia Haun, Sandy; Susanne Montoya, Salt Lake City; Cynthia Paramore, Salt Lake; Peggy Symes, Sandy; Randy Paramore, Sandy; 25 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pauline Olpin, Pleasant Grove; and Mary Jo Johnson, Billings, Mont.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 16, 1994 at 10 a.m., at the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary, and one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Parowan City Cemetery at 3:30 p.m.
